Solamente tengo 2 semanas más de mis clases, y entonces graduación!! Despues de graduacion(!!)mi equipo de fútbol irá a Alemania para ayudar una iglesia allá por 13 dias. Porque es la Copa Mundial, esperamos que podamos usar fútbol para evangelizar. Despues de regresar, ayudaré con campamentos en Wisconsin, Colorado, Utah, y Kansas. Pillsbury (mi universidad) tiene un equipo de campamentos. Hay cuatro de nosotros - Crystal, Steven (de Canada), Candace, y yo. Terminaremos en Agosto y puedo ir a la boda de Pablo (no se como él pueda ser casado!), y ayudar en mi iglesia en Brainerd, Minnesota.

Estoy en EEUU y todo esta bien. Mi familia les ha mandado muchos saludos a todos en la iglesia en Musa y los otras personas que les conocen. Es un poco diferente aqui porque no he escuchado a nadie que hable Castellano. Estoy nervioso porque no puedo entenderles bien! Tuve un problema con mi abuelo de 90 años porque solamente podia hablar a el en Castellano! Acouple of us guys from the church here in Musa decided to have one more "Man Outing." Seeing that I would be the only one able to participate in this category, we decided to make it a "Men and Boys Outing," so that they could come along as well. We went about an hour back into the mountains in a taxi, and then walked from there another 4 or 5 kilometers up this valley. We hitched a ride with some farmer, and ended up finding a place to camp at the base of this mountain. We enjoyed the evening by burning things, eating, running around, and eating some more. It was alot of fun just to relax with the guys we have built friendships with these past 11 months.
The following morning we hiked to the top of the one of the mountains, walked around, and then went swimming in the river that runs through the whole valley. We had a blast and the time spent with the guys was great.

House Update

I would like to thank all of you again who have given to the House Fund in Musa, Perú. The project has not been forgotten. On the contrary, we have been checking into every lead. The problem we have confronted is that of paperwork. The first house we were going to buy, now cannot be purchased because of paper work and problems with the owner. There is another house that we were looking into, but that too lacked paperwork. The owners are eager to sell, but want everything under the table. We know that God is in control, and has a plan. Please pray that this plan will be accomplished in His time and also that we will have patience for His timing.

Last Thursday night at our new church plant we were able to see three more lives come to Christ. Katy, Juan Carlos, and Milagros all put their faith in Jesus Christ last night! It has been neat to see our small group slowly grow in the large city of Manchay. Please pray for these new believers, and that this small work will continue to grow and become a light to the community.

I want to see what everyone is thinking, and here is a great way. Leave me a comment, if you want, on a question. I have been thinking alot about the importance of training national leaders. After seeing many of the villages, cities, and people groups without trained leaders, my heart has been burdened with finding the best way to bring the training to them. Many of these churches cannot afford that their pastor leave for several years to go to seminary, and for this reason, Perú has many pastors with good intention, yet little training. So here is the question that goes out to everyone - "What can we do to provide this training where they don´t have it?"
