Still learning

Consider it pure joy, my brothers, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith develops perseverance. Perseverance must finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything. James 1:2-4 (NIV)
These verses have been echoing throughout my mind for the past two weeks. No matter where I turn, they seem to be manifested in my life! I think God is trying to tell me something. Seeing the everyday and seemingly overwhelming struggles in the ministry, the thought came to my mind, "Why do God's most faithful servants seem to have the hardest tests in life?" The reply that came to my plea was, "Maybe that is why they are His most faithful servants." May I be able to say with Job: "But he knows the way that I take; when he has tested me, I will come forth as gold." Job 23:10 (NIV)
